So it looks like I will be spending yet ANOTHER lonely weekend by myself here in Ruston... oh well...

I REALLY miss First West....

I seem to have forgotten what it's like to be passionate about something.... where did all that passion go??? Do the same rules apply for the law of conservation of mass? If so, I don't want to take someone else's passion to regain my own.

For those of you who have no idea what I am trying to say... don't worry your pretty little heads... sometimes things start to get a little hazy when you grow complacent.

I AM, however, pumped about next weekend. I am really excited about what The Lord has in store for D Now! I am SO ready for God to challenge me like He never has before.... I need it. I need Him to move me in a way that I have never experienced so I can get off my lazy butt and start living.

Well I'm out...

Word to ya mutha....

After a while, you learn the subtle difference

Between holding a hand and chaining a soul,

And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning

And company doesn't mean security,

And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts

And presents aren't promises,

And you begin to accept your defeats

With the grace of a woman,

Not the grief of a child,

And learn to build all your roads on today

Because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans,

And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight

And after a while, you learn

That even sunshine burns if you get too much.

So you plant your own garden

And decorate your own soul,

Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

And you learn that you really can endure...

That you really are strong

And you really do have worth

And you learn

and learn...

With every goodbye, you learn.

This is without a doubt my favorite poem. I hope that one day I can transfer my thoughts to paper with that much beauty and creativity. Even though it doesn't really pertain to my life so much right now, I though someone might enjoy it. It has helped me through some tough times...

Love to all!

Please continue to keep Jonthan and Julia's family in your prayers.... and while you're at it please remember the Churches and the Crawfords

Happy New Year!!!

So I decided  to change things up a bit... very interesting to go from lots of color to just black and white.... I think I like it....

Love is such a beautiful thing.... if you can even call it a "thing"....hmmm.....

I think I will go contemplate this now.....

Ephesians 4:29
